This week-long Kenyan itinerary combines thrilling wildlife encounters with rich cultural experiences. Start with three nights at Ololo Safari Lodge, on the edge of Nairobi National Park, where you’ll spot lions, rhinos, and giraffes while exploring Nairobi’s cultural and historical gems. Enjoy game drives, conservation visits, and vibrant excursions.

On Day 4, fly to the Masai Mara for three nights at Enkewa Camp, a secluded, owner-run retreat near Sand River. Here, you’ll experience exclusive game drives in untouched wilderness, savor bush breakfasts, and enjoy the camp’s renowned hospitality and incredible meals.

Your itinerary at a glance

Day 1 starts with your arrival in Nairobi, where you’ll be met and transferred to Ololo Safari Lodge. After checking in and enjoying a welcome drink, you’ll embark on your first game drive in Nairobi National Park and end the day with a relaxing dinner at the lodge.

Day 2 involves a deep dive into Nairobi’s attractions. Begin with a visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see baby elephants and learn about their conservation. Continue to the Giraffe Centre for a close encounter with giraffes before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant. Your afternoon includes a tour of the Karen Blixen Museum and an interactive farm tour back at Ololo Lodge.

Day 3 offers a mix of wildlife and relaxation. Start with an early morning game drive in Nairobi National Park, followed by a hearty breakfast at the lodge. Later, explore Kitengela Hot Glass to view glass-blowing techniques and shop for souvenirs. After lunch, unwind with a massage treatment before heading out for a sunset game drive.

On Day 4, after an early breakfast, you’ll fly to the Masai Mara and check in at Enkewa Camp. Spend the afternoon on a game drive, discovering the park’s diverse wildlife, and enjoy a delicious dinner at the camp.

Day 5 features a full day of exploration in the Masai Mara. Begin with a bush breakfast in the reserve, followed by a game drive to search for the Big Five. Engage in a Maasai cultural visit to learn about local traditions, and continue with more game drives throughout the afternoon.

Day 6 starts with a breathtaking hot air balloon ride at sunrise, offering stunning aerial views of the Mara. After landing, celebrate with a champagne breakfast before returning to the camp for lunch and optional activities. In the evening, enjoy a sundowner experience, savoring drinks and snacks as you watch the sunset.

On your final day, Day 7, enjoy a last morning game drive or a relaxing breakfast at the camp. Transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Depending on your flight schedule, you can opt for a half-day excursion in Nairobi before your international departure or extend your stay in Kenya for more adventures.
