Visit the Ololo Regenerative Farm

Most of the food enjoyed at Ololo comes directly from our organic farm. On the farm we have chickens, ducks, fish, pigs, cows for dairy, a mushroom house, as well as an enormous vegetable garden! Enjoy a guided tour of the farm and you are invited to help collect your breakfast eggs, or milk 'Joyce' the cow!

David Sheldrick’s Wildlife Trust: 'The Baby Elephant Orphanage'

Ololo is just a 20 minute game drive from the renowned Baby Elephant Orphanage and we take our guests to visit, without exiting the Nairobi National Park. Founded in 1977 by Dr. Daphne Sheldrick in memory of her late husband and naturalist David Sheldrick, the trust is today one of the most successful orphan elephant rehabilitation programmes in the world.

"Doesn't get better than this! Had the absolute best time at Ololo last week. Arranging pickup was easy and we were greeted warmly upon arrival. The main staff we worked with were James and Susan and they treated us like family from the very beginning. The food was DELICIOUS with nearly everything being sourced from their on-site farm."

"Beautiful property with exquisite service! We stayed at Ololo for three nights and had a great time. Less than 30 minutes from Nairobi Airport we were picked up by a driver and drove through Nairobi national park to the lodge. Safari rides in comfortable Land Cruisers at dawn and dusk each day for 3 hours. Sammy was a delightful driver and guide. Saw giraffes, lions, cheetahs (with 3 cubs), black & white rhinos, hippos, monkeys, jackals, gazelles, ostriches, various antelopes, mostly at very close range.

"Magical retreat! Ololo Lodge was our first and last stop on an 11-night safari planned by Ololo safaris. The lodge and its surroundings are stunningly beautiful. Our group of 5 adults stayed in the stable cottage. If you’re coming to Kenya for a longer safari, do contact Jim or Charley to plan your itinerary!
